We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Business & Change Analyst to join our Payments team on a 24-month Fixed Term contract.
In this high-profile role, you’ll be responsible for the management of large scale multi-disciplinary programmes or complex projects ensuring synergy with corporate strategy and enabling business areas to achieve strategic objectives.

The difference you’ll make:
* Planning and delivering high quality business analysis to support the on-going transformation programmes in the organisation
* Working collaboratively with the project team and business stakeholders to understand business change needs, translate these into specific requirements
* Determining the need for, and procurement of services, external support, ensuring that all resourcing requirements are met
* Defining and articulating business needs in a way that enables the definition and design of solutions that will add value to the Bank
* Acting as a key interface between the business sponsors and stakeholders and the technology and delivery teams
* Providing oversight to a team of Business Analysts, ensuring that best practice is adhered to with regards to the collating and documenting of user / business requirements
What you’ll bring:
These are the essential requirements you need to be successful in this role:
* Excellent knowledge of payments schemes (Faster Payments, BACS, CHAPS, SWIFT and SEPA SCT) at both technical and operational level
* Experience managing cross-functional, multiple location project / programme teams in a matrix environment
* Extensive knowledge of payments products in both the retail and commercial banking space
* Experience operating in a project / programme environment, working with agile and waterfall delivery methodologies in meeting deadlines
It would also be nice for you to have:
* Excellent knowledge of investigation techniques, business process modelling, requirements development and impact assessment
* Excellent analytical and all-round project-based skills
* Ability to translate complex issues into clear and robust proposals for communication to both senior stakeholders in the business and technical audiences
* Excellent stakeholder management skills coupled with the ability to adjust communication styles accordingly
* Able to represent Transformation on selected industry forums and translate updates to understand the impact on the Payments Transformation roadmap
What else you need to know:
This 24-month Fixed Term role is based in Unity Place – Milton Keynes.
We want our people to thrive at work and home, and also be able to deliver the best outcomes for our customers and to help each other develop. To support this, we offer site-based contracts with a hybrid working pattern and our expected level of attendance in an office is at least 12 days per month (pro-rata for part-time roles).

As well as a competitive salary, you’ll enjoy a benefits package that you can tailor to your needs. For part-time / contract roles, your salary, bonus (where eligible) and certain benefits will be prorated to reflect your working hours / contract duration.
* We put 8% of salary into your pension, even if you don’t contribute yourself. We’ll pay in up to 12.5% of salary, if you contribute as well, and you can take some of our contribution in cash if you prefer.
* 30 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, which increases to 31 days after 5 years of service, with the option to purchase up to 5 contractual days per year.
