Job Description
Marble is seeking a highly strategic and experienced Account Director to lead one of our key corporate technology clients. You will be responsible for developing and implementing the strategy for both their internal communications and CSR programmes. You will lead a team to implement multi channel campaigns that include employee and community engagement, in person events and engaging content development. This role requires a seasoned client leader with a strong understanding of the complexities of large corporations. The ideal candidate will have exceptional client management skills, deep strategic thinking, keen eye for details and outstanding team leadership abilities.
Responsibilities
Client Leadership: Serve as the senior point of contact for the client, building strong relationships with key stakeholders. You will be responsible for building relationships across the organisation to develop the account and expand our offerings to other areas of the business.
Strategic Development: Develop and execute a high-impact communications strategy aligned with the client’s business objectives and brand values.
Team Management: Lead and mentor a high-performing comms, marketing and insights team, ensuring collaboration, creativity, and excellence in execution.
Stakeholder Management: You will have strong interpersonal skills, able to navigate potentially complex situations and be able to translate requirements into deliverables that meet the client’s expectations.
Campaign Execution: Oversee the creation and implementation of campaigns, ensuring they are engaging, innovative, and measurable.
Strategic thinking: Curate strategic propositions for the client that meet their short term and long term objectives while continuing to seek potential opportunities for partnership.
Performance & Reporting: Track and measure the impact of campaigns, providing insights and recommendations to optimise future work.
Budget Management: Be responsible for managing a large and complex budget straddling multiple client programs
Job Requirements
Key Requirements:
* Experience: Minimum 8+ years of experience in marketing, communications, with a strong focus on corporate clients, preferably within the tech sector.
* Strong Eye for Detail: Ensure that campaigns are comprehensive and the detail is taken care of
* Strategic Mindset: Proven ability to develop and execute high-level communications strategies that drive business impact.
* Client Management: Demonstrated success in managing senior-level client relationships and delivering exceptional service.
* CSR Knowledge: Solid understanding of Corporate Social Responsibility principles and experience integrating CSR initiatives into broader communications strategies.
* Political Acumen: Strong ability to navigate corporate structures, manage internal expectations, and influence decision-making within a complex organisation.
* Team Leadership: Experience leading, mentoring, and inspiring teams to deliver outstanding results.
* Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to craft compelling narratives and presentations.
* Results-Driven: Track record of delivering measurable impact through strategic communications.
