A Roman Catholic primary school in the M26 area is currently looking to recruit for a talented and professional Year 6 Teacher to join them from May 2025 until the end of the academic year. Their curriculum is designed to provide the children with a firm grounding in the Catholic faith whilst also placing a large emphasis on aiding their academic growth.
As a Year 6 Teacher, you will be supported by a strong team of permanent staff and work to deliver lessons across all the foundation subjects. Whilst this is initially a summer role, as it is the beginning of a maternity cover, there is the possibility of a longer-term role being offered, should the successful applicant do well.
The school is eager to consider a variety of applicants but has expressed the need for excellent curriculum knowledge, a strong work ethic, and a positive attitude. If you are an Early Career Teacher with experience within UKS2 or an experienced Fully Qualified Teacher, the school is interested in seeing your profile! The school has said if the position continues in September, there may be the capacity within the school to support the induction of an ECT.
It is also of importance to the Senior Leadership Team that the chosen educator is able and willing to uphold the school’s mission and values, including supporting charitable works inside and outside of the classroom.
Requirements for this role:
1. Applicants must have a QTS.
2. An ambitious individual that is passionate about helping students achieve their full potential.
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
4. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
5. Willingness to go above and beyond to ensure all children are happy and successful.
6. Previous experience in a similar role is preferred, but not essential.
If you are eager to secure a role before the end of the academic year and think this sounds like the role for you, then please apply and attach your CV.
We look forward to hearing from you!
