LV Design Engineer - Warrington

Key Responsibilities:
1. Monitor and plan projects to ensure timely and budget-compliant completion.
2. Produce and review LV design and engineering procedures, ensuring compliance with technical standards and best practices.
3. Provide technical guidance on projects, generating system requirements in coordination with the Technical Manager.
4. Conduct site surveys and provide detailed reports on findings and requirements.
5. Assist in the generation and review of estimates, proposals, and tenders.
6. Communicate effectively within the organisation and with clients, promoting cross-divisional capabilities.
Essential Skills:
1. Over 5 years of experience as an LV Design Engineer or equivalent.
2. Hands-on experience with Power Switchgear and Control gear Assemblies.
3. Competent knowledge of industrial power systems, control and automation systems, and relevant BS EN standards.
4. Proficiency in Autodesk (AutoCAD) or Bentley (Microstation/Promis.e) and Microsoft Office 365.
5. Strong communication, influence, and negotiation skills.
Qualifications:
1. HNC/HND in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience.
2. Working towards BEng in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (preferable).
3. Membership in The Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) and professional registration as EngTech or IEng (preferable).
