To keep our operations network secure and assure operational continuity, we are looking for an experienced professional who wants to join our External Fulfilment Network (EFN) team as Senior Program Manager for Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). In this key role, you will provide security services and asset protection (i.e., lives, buildings, equipment, data, and professional property) through the design of physical infrastructure and processes across the EMEA EFN environment. Key job responsibilities • End-to-end own, build, maintain, and improve complex risk-based security programs and projects specific to the EMEA EFN Supply Chain to prevent theft and losses • Develop risk-based as well as cost-effective security solutions and engage internal and external stakeholders to implement the security solutions • Create security standards, programs, assessments, and procedures and collaborate with key regional stakeholders for their consistent implementation • Ensure compliance to security standards and requirements, partner with stakeholders to implement effective audit programs to detect, prevent, and mitigate supply chain losses, and follow up on definition and implementation of corrective action plans • Contribute to reducing business losses from security incidents by identifying and understanding vulnerabilities, MOs, and implementing appropriate protection measures A day in the life As a Senior Program Manager on the EFN Solutions team, you will support the Security and Loss Prevention team with the end-to-end owning, developing, maintaining, and continuously improving complex risk-based security projects and long-term solutions programs specific to the EMEA EFN. To achieve this goal, you will take the lead to evaluate business problems and support in the definition of the team strategy to develop and implement comprehensive security projects and programs aligned with important team goals. You identify, assess, as well as prioritize long-term risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. You will also ensure that all security projects and programs comply with relevant laws, regulations, and local standards and you provide ongoing training on security best practices for the personnel involved in your projects and programs. About the team Working in partnership with our stakeholders, Security and Loss Prevention secures the Amazon supply chain end-to-end and promotes security during business conversations. Sitting within Security and Loss Prevention, the EFN Solutions team does this by developing and implementing risk mitigation programs to prevent Security and Loss Prevention-related risks and vulnerabilities across the EFN supply chain from the initial handover at the origin up to the point of delivery and where necessary, the return process, as early as possible. Continually assessing the programs and adjusting to support the ever-changing operational requirements, we deep dive root causes and embed standards and processes to improve productivity and prevent re-occurrence of incidents. We also provide frameworks for standards to enable business units conduct their daily operational tasks whilst mitigating risks accordingly. To reach this goal, we collect and consolidate information to evaluate existing as well as evolving modus operandi. Collaborating with additional Security and Loss Prevention support function teams, we assess the risk and develop programs to minimize potential impact. We also provide strategic, tactical, and operational programs for customers’ as well as stakeholders’ business needs and priorities by working closely with EMEA senior management, support functions, and other security functions in a global framework. Basic Qualifications - A degree or degree equivalent (e.g., business, project management, criminal justice) - Relevant advanced experience within retail, supply chain, compliance, or operations - Relevant advanced experience delivering projects or programs at international scale - Relevant advanced experience working with the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) in a professional environment - Upper intermediate proficiency in written and verbal English Preferred Qualifications - Relevant industry certification (e.g., CPP, TAPA, ISO, AEO, C-TPAT) - Relevant advanced experience in multi-site/country environment managing security and loss prevention in logistics or transportation - Relevant advanced experience with conducting physical security risk assessments - Relevant advanced experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements - Ability to interact with all levels of leadership within the organization to drive consensus regarding new solutions, policies, and procedures Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
