The Role
You will be a part of the Finance Department that supports the EMEA region within the group, holding responsibility for the production of Monthly management accounts for the UK&I entities in the group, with combined revenue of roughly £500m. This role is a terrific opportunity for someone to gain exposure in a global business, learning best practice from some of the brightest minds in the industry. A list of duties are outlined below:
* Preparation of monthly management accounts
* Posting accruals and prepayments, and preparing balance sheet reconciliations
* Carry out P&L analysis and commentary
* Bank reconciliations
* Completion of monthly commentary file and quarterly reporting packs
* Preparation of payroll journals
* Continually look to improve controls and processes, increasing the quality of monthly reconciliations
* Work closely with internal team and external auditors in the preparation of statutory accounts
* Assisting with implementing new processes and procedures
* Ad hoc duties where required to support the wider finance department
What they're looking for
* Full or part-qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA)
* An experienced management accountant, comfortable with operating in a complex environment
* ERP system experience
* A pro-active thinker, someone prepared and willing to challenge existing processes/controls
* Highly organised, diligent and structured individual with the ability to work to tight deadlines
* Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills, proven ability to build effective relationships
