Purpose of role
The role of the Office Services Assistant is a key position in providing services to our client and reporting to the Office Manager.
Key Responsibilities
1. Deal with all functions of Mail services, sorting, scanning, distributing around the office within SLA's.
2. Dealing with all incoming Special, Signed for, tracked, Hand deliveries and courier deliveries.
3. Dealing with all outgoing post, collecting from around the office, booking on systems.
4. Deal with day to day queries from the inbox and liaise with the client.
5. General maintenance of copiers
6. Assist with other tasks within the Office Services team.
Personal Attributes
1. Previous reception/telephonist/customer service experience
2. Well presented, with excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
3. IT skills – knowledge of Microsoft packages
4. Ability to prioritise and work under pressure
5. Ability to plan ahead and anticipate problems
