As a Relief Pharmacy Services Assistant, you’ll be joining an enthusiastic and hardworking team of colleagues that work together to make a positive difference to the lives of their patients. You'll have the opportunity to work in a number of different branches across central Lincoln and the surrounding villages. From working the counter to keeping the shelves stocked and ready for customers, there is a wide range of duties for you to be involved in, such as:
•Delivering exceptional customer service, providing health advice and services to our patients through engaging conversations.
•Ensuring that every customer leaves the pharmacy feeling informed and confident about their healthcare needs
•Keeping the shop floor fully stocked and ready for customers through accepting and working deliveries and completing stock takes
•Delivering the technical aspects of the dispensary, allowing and ensuring the safe supply of medicines. This could be through ordering medicines, labelling, dispensing, and supporting the collection of prescriptions
•Assisting with sales and general store duties including creating product displays and cash transactions
About You

To be successful in joining our team, you’ll need to show us: •A natural ability to build meaningful relationships with both patients and colleagues
•An upbeat, caring, and confident manner when serving and advising patients
•An enthusiasm and talent for problem solving, eager to take on new challenges and experiences
•A methodical and accurate approach to practical tasks, using your own initiative and teamwork skills to aid you
•Experience of working in a retail background and using a stock control system would be desirable but not essential as full training is provided
•As travel will be required within this role, you will need to hold a valid driving licence and access to a vehicle for business use For this role, we’re looking for someone who already has their Level 2 Pharmacy Services Assistant qualification or higher.
