Senior Asset Manager - London - Excellent Salary + Benefits Package

A leading player in the renewable energy sector, focusing on wind and solar assets across LATAM, they have a strategic growth plan and a strong portfolio. Currently focussed on the development, ownership, and operation of renewable energy projects. Their portfolio includes solar and wind energy projects, reflecting their commitment to sustainability and transitioning towards cleaner energy solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee daily operations of renewable energy projects, ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
* Deliver accurate technical data and monitor analytics to identify issues and optimize performance.
* Generate performance, financial, and operational efficiency reports.
* Manage the transition of new assets from construction to operation.
* Maintain risk matrices, asset directories, and site documentation.
* Foster relationships with external stakeholders.
* Monitor KPIs and ensure targets are met.
* Supervise site managers and contractors.
* Oversee contracts and manage negotiations with suppliers, service providers, and offtakers.
* Support the development of performance measurement frameworks and policies.
* Collaborate with teams to identify technical risks and opportunities for new projects.
* Conduct financial analysis, budgeting, and cost control to meet financial targets.
* Work with external financial service providers on monthly closings and statutory filings
Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
* Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role.
* Strong understanding of renewable energy technologies.
* Experience with asset management platforms; battery storage experience beneficial.
* Experience in the LATAM region is an advantage.
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Excellent communication and analytical skills.
* Fluent in English - Spanish would also be an advantage but not mandatory.
* Ability to work independently and take initiative.
* Willingness to travel.
