The Role
We are recruiting Senior HR Business Partner to be part of the newly established Independent Commission for Reconciliation and Information Recovery (ICRIR).
Key Responsibilities
* Leading, managing and inspiring a team of HR business partners.
* Redefining the performance management process to support employee development and assisting line managers in their implementation.
* Overseeing employee reward and compensation policies to ensure competitiveness and fairness
* Analysing performance metrics, including employee retention and experience data, to identify areas for improvement which will drive enhancements.
* Overseeing complex cases, tribunals and legal challenges.
* Keeping up to date with employment law changes.
* Working with senior leaders to establish the Learning & Development strategy for the business.
* Developing long term diversity and inclusion initiatives that will enable the ICRIR to flourish.
* Supporting senior leaders to plan employee engagement interventions to drive increased performance.
* Developing a people strategy to support delivery against the ICRIR's priorities.
* Acting as the strategic HR business partner, working with senior leaders to prioritise the role modelling of the culture.
* Developing the ICRIR’s employee well-being strategy.

Person specification
Qualification
* A recognised CIPD Qualification at level 5/7 or equivalent.
Essential Criteria
* Advising on complex HR and reward matters.
* HR policy development, both the development and ongoing review.
* Partnership working – building effective working relationships with senior leaders on case management.
* Leadership and management of HR teams.
* Demonstration of communication, negotiation and influential skills.
* Acting as a Change Agent who can deliver on key issues.
* An ability to work under pressure and with competing demands to meet deadlines.
* A good team player with a proactive approach.
* Demonstrating the values set out in the ICRIR Code of Conduct
Desirable Criteria
* Experience in using a range of analytical tools
* Willingness to be assessed against the requirements for CTC clearance, if not already cleared
