Job Title: Operations Manager – Conveyancing
Location: Bolton
Role Overview: As the Operations Manager – Conveyancing, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficiency, performance, and strategic growth of the conveyancing department. This is a leadership role requiring a proactive individual with strong operational, managerial, and industry expertise to drive process improvements, ensure compliance, and manage a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of the conveyancing department across multiple offices.
* Develop and implement streamlined processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and client satisfaction.
* Lead, mentor, and support conveyancing teams, ensuring high performance and professional development.
* Ensure full compliance with industry regulations, including SRA and CLC guidelines.
* Identify areas for improvement and introduce innovative solutions to enhance productivity and service quality.
* Collaborate with senior management to align department objectives with overall business strategy.
* Monitor financial performance, manage budgets, and oversee department profitability.
* Manage key stakeholder relationships, including clients, partners, and external bodies.
* Oversee the implementation and use of conveyancing case management systems and digital solutions.
Key Requirements:
* Significant experience in a senior conveyancing, operational, or managerial role within a legal environment.
* Strong knowledge of conveyancing processes, regulations, and compliance requirements.
* Proven experience in managing teams and driving performance improvements.
* Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
* Commercial acumen with experience in financial planning and budget management.
* Familiarity with conveyancing case management systems and legal technology.
* A qualification as a solicitor, licensed conveyancer, or CILEx (desirable but not essential).
