About the Role We are seeking an experienced and passionate Senior Social Worker to join and lead their dynamic team at the new family centre in Widnes. You will play a vital role in providing high-quality, evidence-based interventions to children and families facing a range of challenges. Key Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive assessments of children and families, identifying needs and developing tailored support plans. Deliver direct therapeutic interventions, including family therapy, individual therapy, and group work. Provide specialist advice and guidance to colleagues and other professionals. Participate in case reviews and multi-agency meetings. Contribute to the development and improvement of services. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records. Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures. Essential Skills and Qualifications: Qualified Social Worker with relevant professional registration (e.g., Social Work England). Significant post-qualifying experience working with children and families. Strong assessment, intervention, and therapeutic skills. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and report-writing skills.
