The Role
As a Technical Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in identifying new business opportunities while strengthening relationships with existing customers.
Working closely with senior leadership, you will develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and secure new business while managing and growing key accounts
Conduct technical and commercial discussions with customers at all levels
Prepare and deliver presentations and seminars to prospective clients
Lead negotiations and provide follow-up on quotations
Identify and support cross-selling opportunities within the company s portfolio
Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline to achieve revenue targets
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform sales strategy
Support the introduction of new projects and ensure smooth customer handovers
Provide regular reports on market demand, opportunities, and sales performance
Your Profile
Strong interest in Engineering or Manufacturing
Proven technical sales background, ideally within aerospace, automotive engineering oil & gas, medical engineering defence or other regulated industries
Strong customer relationship management skills
Experience in budgeting and forecasting
Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP, and CRM systems
Essential Skills

Strong negotiation and presentation skills
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
