Minimum qualifications:
* Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
* 5 years of experience in program management.
* Experience in the full software development life cycle, from concept to production.
* Embedded experience in Android or OS development.
Preferred qualifications:
* Experience managing large, complicated SDLC projects that span multiple quarters.
* Experience with the Android platform, software/hardware ecosystem.
* Experience with Java/Python/C++.
* Experience with ML/AI.

Responsibilities
* Lead product teams to develop scalable processes to structure programs within the NextGen organization.
* Align your area on a focused program strategy in alignment with the engineering multi-year vision for Android NextGen. Plan and schedule for major/minor milestones considering the overall project deliverables, triaging and prioritizing features and bugs, getting cross-functional support and escalating as required.
* Work closely with teams both locally and remotely.
* Seek out all necessary schedule inputs and develop a solid, defensible plan for software development release and keep the team tracking to it. Spot, track, and communicate key risks and help identify solutions to mitigate those.
* Manage communication of progress/status within the core team and externally (customers, partners, etc.), and escalate issues as necessary.
