We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Attendance Officer to join our team at Regent High School, where attendance has been placed at the heart of our whole-school priorities. The core purpose of the job is to contribute to improving school attendance by ensuring the timely and accurate recording of attendance information, which is then effectively analysed to deploy impactful interventions that drive improvements. As Attendance Officer, you will work collaboratively with staff, families, and external agencies to ensure every student has the best possible chance to succeed. This is an excellent opportunity for a committed professional to contribute to a school that prioritises high standards and student success.
The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical, ICT and administrative skills in order to facilitate the improvement of overall school attendance. Additionally, the postholder will be expected to manage and process attendance data efficiently, in order to inform vital reporting. A mature approach and a commitment to working with young people are required as well as the ability to work calmly under pressure.
