Main Duties of the Job
You will be qualified in at least one Epic application (training provided) and will work within the Patient Administration System (PAS) eHospital team.
You will support and manage a team of application analysts, ensuring that their work conforms to the design integrity for your module. You will provide specialist advice on the capabilities and optimisation potential of the Epic system. You will be an expert in your application areas and troubleshoot problems and address questions regarding the applications.
You will communicate regularly with outpatient booking and admission coordinators, service managers and other relevant staff, listening to and analysing their needs.
You will modify the Epic system using configuration tools to tailor the system to ensure it works effectively for our patients and staff.
You will help to test the system thoroughly to ensure that it is safe, usable, secure and robust.
You will provide support to end-users through regular meetings as well as help desk, and on-call activities as required. You will also work alongside the training department to ensure that training materials and curricula are kept in line with the system.
