Key Responsibilities for a Sales & Account Manager Develop and maintain detailed market knowledge of each agency on your panel, including corporate structures, market sectors, PSL data, and competitor activity. Build strong relationships through business development activities, identifying and engaging key influencers and sales consultants. Track and analyse competitor activity to ensure a competitive advantage and provide feedback to inform marketing strategies and business planning. Create and execute a growth strategy for each agency, aligning with company targets and collaborating with regional sales teams. Drive new business by onboarding agencies and increasing engagement with sales consultants. Deliver training and educational content to enhance clients understanding of contractor management services and regulatory compliance. Stay up to date with industry trends, legislation, and regulations, ensuring compliance and providing expert guidance to clients. Maintain accurate records of all sales activities in the CRM system and contribute to monthly sales meetings and business strategy discussions. Key Skills & Experience for a Sales & Account Manager Proven experience in sales, account management, or business development, ideally within contractor management, recruitment, or a related industry. Strong knowledge of Umbrella, CIS, PEO, and Limited Company services, with an understanding of industry regulations such as IR35, AWR, and Pension Auto-Enrolment. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage and influence key stakeholders. Confident in delivering training and industry insights to clients. Proficiency in CRM systems and strong organisational skills to manage multiple accounts effectively. Self-motivated with a results-driven approach, able to meet and exceed sales targets.
