About the Company
A leading infrastructure engineering firm delivering high-impact projects across transport, utilities, and public infrastructure. With a strong pipeline of work across the South of England, they are seeking an organised and motivated Bid Coordinator to join their growing pre-construction team in Wiltshire.
Role Overview
The Bid Coordinator will play a crucial role in supporting the development, coordination, and submission of high-quality bids and tenders. This individual will collaborate with engineers, estimators, and senior leadership to ensure proposals are compliant, compelling, and delivered on time.
This role is ideal for someone with strong organisational skills and an interest in the infrastructure or civil engineering sectors.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate the end-to-end bid process for infrastructure projects, from PQQ through to final tender submission.
Collate and edit technical content, ensuring clarity, compliance, and consistency with client requirements.
Liaise with internal teams including estimating, engineering, commercial, and project delivery.
Manage timelines, trackers, and documentation to ensure timely submissions.
Maintain and update a library of templates, case studies, CVs, and standard responses.
Support in the preparation of graphics, presentations, and post-submission materials.
Participate in bid reviews and debriefs to support continuous improvement.
Required Skills & Experience
Experience in a bid/proposals/tendering role within construction, engineering, or related sectors.
Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Adobe InDesign desirable but not essential.
Attention to detail and ability to manage large volumes of information effectively.
Understanding of civil/infrastructure engineering terminology is an advantage.
