Role Overview:
As an HR Advisor, you will be responsible for providing expert advice on HR matters, conducting investigations, and leading disciplinary meetings. Your experience will play a key role in supporting both management and employees, ensuring that policies are applied fairly and consistently.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide professional advice on HR issues to managers and employees across the organisation.
2. Support and lead investigations into employee matters, ensuring a thorough and impartial process.
3. Manage disciplinary and grievance meetings, ensuring all procedures are followed in line with company policies and employment law.
4. Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
5. Maintain accurate and confidential HR records and documentation.
6. Support employee relations and contribute to fostering a positive working environment.
Required Experience:
1. Minimum of 12 months' experience in a HR role, ideally within a similar advisory or generalist position.
2. Proven experience conducting disciplinary hearings and investigations.
3. Knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and advise at all levels.
5. High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Desirable Skills:
1. CIPD qualification (or working towards).
2. Experience with HR software or systems.
3. Ability to manage multiple cases and priorities effectively.
