Job summary Westbank Practice are looking for an administrator/receptionist to join our friendly team.Potential candidates must be flexible, have excellent customer service skills and be confident in dealing with patients face to face and on the telephone. You will be dealing with tasks such as: prescriptions, making appointments, dealing with patient queries, registering patients, monitoring requests via email and other admin tasks. The job is varied and very busy, you will be working across two sites Starcross and Exminster between the hours of 8am- 6pm Monday to Friday (approximately 25-30 hours per week) Main duties of the job To be responsible for undertaking a wide range of reception and administrative duties and the provision of general support to the multidisciplinary team.Duties can include but are not limited to, greeting and directing patients, effective use of the appointment system, booking appointments, processing of information and assisting patients as required.To act as the central point of contact for patients, the distribution of information, messages and enquiries for the clinical team, liaising with multidisciplinary team members and external agencies such as secondary care and community service providers.
