SEN Teaching Assistant BS5 Full-Time September Start I am looking for a Teaching Assistant who has great knowledge of working with Special Educational Needs children. A Primary School in the BS5 area of Bristol is looking for someone to support 1:1 with a child in their Year 4 class. You will have the opportunity to join a large Bristol school with a diverse and inclusive curriculum where children can be inspired with creativity. The Role This role is to start in the New Academic Year where you will be expected to work closely with a KS2 pupil to support them inside and outside of the classroom. With SEMH needs, this pupil needs someone who is caring and nurturing, someone who can empathise and adapt learning environments.. You will be expected to: Work collaboratively with the Class Teacher and communicate clearly. Be flexible and encouraging when working with this pupil. Be adaptable with the child’s learning environment. Communicate and observe personal and learning development. Support children in a group setting, using objects to support and encourage learning.
