About you
With Qualified Teacher Status, a love of learning and evidence of continuing professional development, you have what it takes to truly engage and inspire children. With a strong knowledge of the benefits of technology in education, both academically and pastorally, you will relish the prospect of creating creative lessons. A good understanding of the requirements of KS2 is essential, as is the ability to prepare and plan for lessons. Developing teaching materials, teaching programmes, methods of teaching and assessment and pastoral arrangements – you will need to be able to do all this while taking into account the unique requirements of every child in your class.

About the role
As well as planning and preparing courses and lessons to an agreed syllabus, we will rely on you to teach each pupil according to their educational needs. You will also be responsible for the setting and marking of work, including homework, and assessing, recording and reporting on the development, progress and attainment of each pupil. Promoting each child’s progress and wellbeing will be important too, as will giving them guidance and advice on educational and social matters. Making records and reports on pupils’ personal and social needs, communicating and consulting with parents and organising appropriate school trips and whole school events – all are aspects of this exciting and rewarding role.
