HDS Consultancy is excited to partner with a leading contractor to find a skilled Mechanical Supervisor for a high-profile educational refurbishment project in East London. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside an experienced mechanical supervisor on the delivery of HVAC systems, ensuring the successful execution of this key project.
Key Responsibilities:

Supervise the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of HVAC systems on a major educational refurbishment project.
*
Support the mechanical supervisor in managing day-to-day operations and ensuring the project stays on schedule and within budget.
*
Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
*
Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, ensuring work is carried out to the highest standards.
*
Conduct site inspections and ensure quality control and workmanship.
*
Assist with project documentation, including reports, progress updates, and quality assurance checks.
*
Liaise with engineers, contractors, and project managers to ensure the seamless delivery of the HVAC systems.
Requirements:
*
Proven experience as a Mechanical Supervisor, specifically with HVAC systems on refurbishment projects (up to £5m).
*
In-depth knowledge of HVAC installation, commissioning, and maintenance processes.
*
Strong understanding of health and safety standards within the mechanical construction sector.
*
Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage subcontractors and work with project teams.
*
Previous experience on educational or similar large-scale refurbishment projects is highly desirable.
*
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
