This role is to work in our third line support team providing escalation support and maintenance on our network and load balancing environments. The applicant will be experienced in network technology including but not limited to routing and switching, wireless and firewall security. They will support existing staff with any escalation support working both directly with end users and supporting ICT colleagues, as well as performing routine maintenance and monitoring the environments.
A full UK driving license is essential for this role. Please note that an international driving license is not accepted.

Key Responsibilities:
* Undertake, in conjunction with the Senior Technical Services Manager, the development, planning, implementation and support of standard network systems.
* Ensure that corporate network systems are supported effectively, including routine housekeeping, e.g. Monitoring Network estate using Solarwinds, DNA Spaces and Cisco Catalyst Centre.
* Undertake acceptance testing, installation, commissioning, software loading and configuration. Troubleshooting ICT equipment, such as Servers connections and Network components, ensuring such ICT equipment conforms to the appropriate safety standards.
* As part of the network team, you will ensure support requests are handled within agreed SLA timeframes and followed ITIL framework best practices.
* Utilising resources effectively and efficiently to achieve a quality service for the organisation.
* Support and supervise more junior ICT members in the execution of their job role.
* Be conversant with the principles, configuration and use of the Trust’s standard computer operating systems, such as Microsoft Windows technologies.
* Undertake advanced problem determination and resolution on ICT equipment and services, and liaise with ICT staff, in particular the Technical Leads, and other parties as necessary to rectify such faults.
