Our client are seeking a Membership Administrator to join a small team in Chertsey. They are looking for a self-motivated, enthusiastic individual who possesses excellent customer service and administration skills.
This role is available Full-Time or Part-Time (4 days)
Key Responsibilities
* Process new memberships and renewals, ensuring accurate database entry.
* Handle membership payments, including direct debits and reconciling subscriptions.
* Respond to membership queries via phone, email, and other channels.
* Advise members on benefits and conduct sales/renewal calls.
* Liaise with Club Secretaries and Centre Managers regarding membership renewals.
* Assist with photocopying, filing, and document preparation.
* Support meetings, conferences, and events with necessary documentation.
* Retrieve and analyse data using CRM and membership databases.
Key attributes
* Demonstrable proven experience of working in a similar role within a small organisation.
* Strong track record of database driven administration within the voluntary sector or sporting environment.
* Membership/customer service background.
* Experience with CRM systems.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, in particular MS Excel and Word
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Numerate with some basic knowledge of accounting functions.
