Director, Market Infrastructure and Trading Controls, Corporate Treasury

We're seeking a future team member for the role of Director, Market Infrastructure and Trading Controls covering the trading activities within the Global Funding team, Corporate Treasury. This position will also provide support on selected CIO trading control activities. This role will be based in Manchester or London, United Kingdom and will report to the Global Head of Funding.
This role will be responsible for the following activities:
* Managing the first line of defense Trading Control framework for the Global Funding and CIO trading activities
* Maintaining a product management overview of trading activities across legal entities
* Overseeing surveillance activities outsourced to the central Surveillance team and annual MAR risk assessment
* Coordinating market infrastructure and conduct regulatory change across Global Funding
* Representing the business across different market infrastructure forums, regulatory meetings, etc.
To be successful in this role, we're seeking the following:
* Extensive experience in Treasury or Markets first line, Controls, Compliance or related Project Management
* Good understanding of money markets, repo (cleared and uncleared), FX and rates market regulations
* Excellent Project Management and Organization skills is a must
* Strong risk management skill and understanding of the regulatory environment
* Effective written and verbal communication skills
* Sound judgement, decision making skills and team player
* Bachelor/Master degree or equivalent qualification
