We're in search of a vigilant female Security Officer due to searching requirements to join our team, ensuring the safety of our site with a structured 4-day on, 2-day off shift pattern totalling 38.5 hours per week. Your responsibilities will span with 2 early shifts from 6am to 2pm and 2 late shifts from 2pm to 10:30pm, with the occasional late-night shift once every couple of weeks up to 3:30am. For this role, having a driving licence is a must for this role, considering our site's location. Also, security experience of a year is preferred, however we prioritise and value customer service skills. Conduct thorough searches of individuals and vehicles entering the premises in accordance with established protocols Identify and respond appropriately to any suspicious behaviour or items detected during searches Maintain accurate and detailed records of security-related activities, incidents and observations Complete necessary paperwork such as incident reports, daily logs and shift handover documents Ensure all documentation is filed and processed in a timely manner Provide a professional and courteous presence when interacting with members of the general public Address inquiries and concerns in a prompt and helpful manner, maintaining a positive customer service attitude at all times Effectively communicate security policies and procedures to visitors and assist them as needed Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to deter unauthorised access and monitor for any signs of security breaches Remain vigilant for potential security threats or safety hazards during patrols Take appropriate action to address any issues identified, including contacting authorities if necessary Control access to the premises by verifying the identity of visitors and contractors Monitor access points and respond to alarms or breaches of security Must have a full clean driving licence Access to vehicle/Good public transport links 1 year Security Experience and/or good customer service skills Good writing skills for reporting Right to work in the UK Provide a five-year checkable employment/education history or be able to produce documentary evidence of any period of unemployment Flexible to work evening/night shifts and early morning shifts Punctual and reliable
