You will lead a team of direct procurement buyers responsible for managing a wide cross section of suppliers delivering a range of products and services associated with Steam Turbines, Generators, Balance of Plant Equipment and Hydrogen Power Units. You will focus on supporting and managing your team to maintain and develop a robust and sustainable supply chain capable of working to stringent quality standards and challenging delivery deadlines. You will interact with multiple internal and external cross-functional stakeholders, projects, finance, planning, quality, manufacturing, sales and of course the supply chain, to support customer bids and project execution. This will include engagement with a team of global commodity managers & process owners to implement Siemens Energy procurement standards, processes and tools.

* Inspire change to align with global tools, processes and procedures
* Establish excellent working relationships with global commodity managers to support local business needs
* Ensure process adherence through all stages of Supplier and Purchase Order management
What You Bring
* You should be qualified to degree level in a relevant technical or commercial subject or be MCIPS qualified
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a project or engineering-based procurement environment
* Strong leadership skills
* Strategic approach with excellent problem-solving skills
* A strong blend of technical and commercial competence
* Excellent communication skills
* The skills for networking & developing relationships
* SAP experience preferred
* Willingness to travel

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
