Role Overview:
We are seeking a committed Teaching Assistant to support Key Stage 4 students with SEMH and challenging behaviours in core subjects. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in fostering academic achievement and emotional growth for these students.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide targeted support in core subjects (Maths, English, Science).
* Support students with challenging behaviour, implementing de-escalation strategies.
* Build strong, trusting relationships with students to encourage positive development.
* Work alongside teachers to track student progress and tailor learning plans.
* Promote social and emotional well-being.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
* Experience working with SEMH students and managing challenging behaviours.
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to form positive relationships with students.
* Commitment to fostering a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
* Good communication and teamwork abilities.
