Administrative Officer - Medical Directorate
Administration Officer, Medical Directorate - B4 - 12-month secondment or fixed-term, 37.5hrs pw - Based at Ladybridge Hall, Trust Headquarters (Bolton) and Agile working.
A 12-month secondment or fixed-term job opportunity has arisen within the Medical Directorate for an Administration Officer to provide efficient and effective administration support to the various work stream/projects relating to the Medical Directorate and contribute to delivering a high-quality standard of work.
Main duties of the job
Applicants should be a forward-looking thinker and able to plan and organise work independently to support the Directorate's workload. You will have:
* 4 GCSEs including English and Maths or equivalent qualifications
* NVQ Level 4 in Business Administration or equivalent level of administration experience
Skills & Abilities
* Ability to plan and organise work independently to support the directorate workload and achieve deadlines
* Ability to analyse a wide range of complex information and summarise accordingly
* Forward-looking thinker who actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions to bring new approaches to old problems
* Proficient use of MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, e-mail and internet applications
* Takes initiative and consistently drives for high quality service delivery
* The ability to act with discretion and understand the need for confidentiality
* The ability to prioritise and balance a range of competing tasks and deliver within required timescales
* Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
* Ability to produce accurate, high quality reports, minutes, presentations, briefings requiring attention to detail at all times
Knowledge and Experience
* Experience of project administration and general administrative and secretarial practices
* Experience of organising, attending and minuting meetings at senior management level
* Understanding of Data Protection Act
* Experience of dealing with sensitive and confidential information
* Experience of prioritising workload and working to set time parameters
