Role Overview:
As the National Sales Manager, you will be at the forefront of our expansion efforts, responsible for building and managing a robust network of door-to-door sales teams across the country. Your primary goal will be to increase sales, expand market reach, and ensure the effective promotion of our insulation products and services.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership:
* Develop and implement national sales strategies to meet and exceed targets.
* Identify growth opportunities and new markets for the Great British Insulation Scheme.
Team Management:
* Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing door-to-door sales team.
* Provide ongoing support, mentorship, and performance evaluations to sales representatives.
* Foster a positive and motivating work environment that encourages team collaboration and success.
Network Development:
* Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external partners.
* Establish and manage a network of regional sales managers and representatives.
* Coordinate with marketing and operations teams to ensure seamless execution of sales initiatives.
Sales Performance:
* Monitor and analyse sales performance data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
* Implement effective sales techniques and best practices to maximise conversion rates.
* Regularly report on sales activities, progress, and achievements to senior management.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience in a national sales management role, preferably in door-to-door sales.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and drive a sales team to success.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Strategic thinker with a track record of developing and executing successful sales strategies.
* Ability to analyse sales data and make data-driven decisions.
* Highly organized with strong time management skills.
* Willingness to travel extensively across the UK.
