We’re looking for an experienced Production Team Leader, and in this role, you’ll play a key part in ensuring smooth operations across our two production facilities, overseeing GMP manufacturing processes, and supporting the team to achieve business goals. With the backing of the Production Manager, you will drive efficiency, maintain the highest Health & Safety standards, and optimise team performance. Key Responsibilities: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce waste. Support the Production Management team in executing continuous improvement initiatives. Champion adherence to procedures, instructions, and safety protocols. Monitor and maintain safety equipment and operational tools. Develop and empower the team to utilize lean methodologies (5Y, DMAIC, etc.). Foster strong cross-functional relationships to enhance collaboration. Drive Performance Excellence initiatives within Operations. Play an active role in the recruitment process of production staff. Conduct investigations related to safety, quality, performance, or conduct issues. Step in for the Production Manager when required. Provide shift cover for other Team Leaders when necessary (e.g., holidays, training, absences). Your Profile Experience of managing and motivating a team is essential. Mechanical/machine operative background and sound knowledge and experience of lean manufacturing/continuous improvement techniques. Formal qualifications in lean/continuous improvement are not essential but could be beneficial. Ideally candidates will have worked within a GMP regulated facility or similar (BRC, ISO9001, BETA NOPS).
