Job Description
Protecnium is an international consulting firm specializing in engineering and technician services (www.protecnium.com/en). We are currently looking for a Surveyor to join our team for High-Speed Construction Project in Brackley, UK.
Estimated duration of the position: 30 months contract- Once the project ends, we aim to place the employee in other projects to ensure continuity.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 10 hours per day
Key Responsibilities
* Survey Supervision: Lead land survey operations, establishing boundary definitions, gradient measurements, and layout alignment.
* Earthworks Control: Monitor excavation, filling, and compaction processes to ensure alignment with design specifications and standards.
* Technical Collaboration: Work closely with design and construction engineers to adjust survey data as needed, preventing potential deviations.
* Advanced Technology Utilization: Use advanced survey tools (e.g., total stations, GPS) and software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D) to generate digital models, calculate volumes, and verify data accuracy.
* Team Management: Supervise junior surveyors, ensuring that all survey tasks meet safety and quality standards; provide ongoing training and support.
* Documentation and Reporting: Generate detailed reports on project progress, document any variances, and recommend adjustments to align with site conditions.
Qualifications and Skills
* Minimum of 2 years in surveying, within large-scale civil or infrastructure projects.
* Degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
* English (C1 level required) and UK work permit.
* Advanced knowledge of survey equipment and software (e.g., total stations, GPS, AutoCAD, Civil 3D).
