We are looking for a Sourcing Manager to join a Global Procurement Sourcing Function for a leading UK bank. You will be working on a hybrid basis from their office in Glasgow.
As Sourcing Manager, you will work within a team responsible for managing commercial deals exceeding £2b annually. You will collaborate strategically with various teams in procurement, legal, SME functions, and external suppliers to deliver quality products and services while minimizing risk and cost.
What you'll be doing as a Sourcing Manager:
1. Responsible for shaping and executing deals across the category.
2. Sourcing non-IT services for the bank, particularly in HR and Business Process Outsourcing categories.
3. Supporting the category manager and independently leading projects across the bank.
4. Accountable for end-to-end delivery of deals primarily aligned to the sub-category.
5. Managing end-to-end events including RFX, auctions, and commercial negotiations with relevant suppliers.
6. Working with Legal support teams to ensure favorable commercial terms.
7. Ensuring all relevant documentation is inputted to the deal and contract management systems, compliant with business and internal procurement policy requirements.
8. Leading a cross-functional team to deliver complex deals or a portfolio of deals.
9. Delivering, managing, and leading team members in end-to-end activity from requirements scoping, sourcing strategy development, eRFX, and negotiations.
What we'd like to see from your application:
1. Strategic sourcing experience in HR or Business Process Outsourcing (BPO).
2. Academic degree and qualifications in CIPS or CPM/CPSM/ISM.
3. Understanding of various commercial value drivers and best procurement industry practices.
4. Confidence in negotiating supplier contract terms and conditions.
5. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present to senior management.
6. Strong networking and senior stakeholder management skills.

Hours: 37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
Location: Glasgow - 3 days a week in office and 2 from home once through accreditation.
Contract: 6-month contract with possibility to extend.
