Hours: 47 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 8 am to 6 pm; 1 in 3 Saturdays, 8 am to 1 pm)

Role Overview
We are seeking an enthusiastic and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our busy Aftersales team. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking company at the forefront of the luxury automotive industry. In this role, you will ensure seamless coordination of customer service bookings, repairs, and warranty claims, while maintaining high standards of communication and satisfaction. You will work closely with the workshop team, liaising between customers and technicians to deliver the highest level of service.
Key Responsibilities
* Customer Interaction & Service Delivery
* Greet customers with professionalism and enthusiasm, actively listening to their service or repair needs.
* Accurately process service and warranty bookings on the system and maintain clear, up-to-date records.
* Provide expert advice and recommend services or accessories, ensuring maximum revenue potential is achieved while maintaining customer satisfaction.
* Handle customer queries and concerns with a solution-oriented approach, ensuring all issues are resolved in a timely manner.
* Service Coordination & Communication
* Effectively liaise with the workshop team, communicating essential details about customer requirements and facilitating smooth repair operations.
* Issue repair orders to technicians with precise instructions and any additional information to assist in the diagnosis, inspection, and repair process.
* Keep customers informed throughout the service or repair process, especially in the event of any delays.
* Documentation & Compliance
* Accurately document all service activities, ensuring job cards are correctly completed and signed, including materials used and time worked.
* Process payments and issue invoices in line with company policies, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of pricing lists, charge-out rates, and warranty policies to ensure compliance with industry standards.
* Warranty & Quality Control
* Review job cards for warranty work and ensure that all warranty claims are documented, with any necessary items returned to the manufacturer.
* Verify that all service work is completed to Saxton’s high standards and within the agreed timeframe.
* Sales & Business Development
* Promote additional services, including service plans and accessories, to enhance the customer experience and maximise revenue.
* Ensure follow-up on completed services to increase customer retention and encourage repeat business.
Ideal Candidate Profile
* Experience & Skills
* Previous experience in a Service Advisor role, ideally within the automotive or luxury vehicle sector.
* Strong customer service background with a proven ability to build rapport and manage customer relationships.
* Familiarity with automotive parts, services, and warranties.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and experience with dealership management systems.
* Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
