Role - Graduate Hazardous Material Technician - Waste Water / Sewage
Location: Milton Keynes
Employment: Full time 37 hours per week and contact will last for up to 6 months
Hourly Rate: £12.50 per hour
Essential: Drivers license and own vehicle
My client is a household name that has a temporary assignment available for up to 6 months based in Milton Keynes. The position of Graduate Hazardous Material Technician - Waste Water / Sewage will be based at a Waste Water Treatment plant near Pineham. Note this role will require travel to other waste water treatment plants in the area (circa 1-2 hours radius of Milton Keynes), so owning your transport is an essential criterion for this position.
The main responsibilities of this position will be:
1. Logging deliveries as they arrive - e.g., Company name, Vehicle registration
2. Conducting a visual inspection and collecting a sample of all deliveries (sewage)
3. Logging the data of the above tasks on a database
This role would suit anyone who isn't put off by working on a waste water treatment site and having to work with sewage.
To be suitable for the role you MUST HAVE:
1. A UK University degree - Ideally in Science, Geography or similar fields but not essential
2. Your own transport
3. Be able to work with Sewage and on a waste water treatment plant
4. Ability to interact with customers relating to deliveries
5. Be able to accurately record and store data.
This role offers flexible working between 7:00am - 5:30pm Monday to Friday where you will work 37 hours per week.
On offer is an hourly rate of £12.50 per hour for the duration of the contract along with paid travel to all sites except Pineham.
This role will start at the beginning of June and interviews are scheduled for WC 27th May.
