Job Description:
At the Caribe Royale, we are extremely excited about the expansion of the Grand Caribe Convention Center, the complete renovation of all 1,335 suites and villas, and a new lobby creating a new “arrival experience”. Responsibilities:
* Being attentive, friendly, and helpful to our guests.
* Vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, brushing, scrubbing, and polishing decorations, appliances, and structural surfaces.
* Cleaning showers, tubs, sinks, toilets, and bathroom items.
* Making beds according to hotel standards.
* Removing used guest items and trash.
* Replenishing guest amenities and supplies.
* Inspecting suites and villas for safety and operating condition of equipment.
* Maintaining storage and carts cleaned and organized.
* Recording suite status on assignment sheets.
* Providing information to guests about hotel services, facilities, and other amenities.
* Preparing suites for guest arrival and ensuring that every villa/suite is complete with all amenities and supplies prior to releasing it as a vacant and inspected room.
* Greeting guests immediately with friendly and sincere acknowledgment.
* Cleansing all assigned suites in compliance with hotel standards of quality and productivity.
* Using cleaning products and equipment to set standards.
* Inspecting all assigned rooms for pests.
* Completing all assigned projects.
* Completing general cleaning and VIP room cleaning as assigned.
* Reporting all maintenance issues, damaged or missing property.
* Maintaining a clean and organized cart and work area.
* Cleansing and returning equipment to assigned storage area.
* Adhering to recycling program.
* Inspecting own suites/villas and punching VI on the telephone after cleaning.
* Picking up Fiji water from Manager and reporting all suites/villas that have departed to the Manager at specified time.
* Waiting until 4pm to re-check and clean any suites/villas with DND.
* Notifying the Manager when leaving work area.
* Reporting lost & found items.
* Responsible for cleaning/re-cleaning early outs/transfer suites/villas.
* Reporting any suspicious activity to Security.
* Ensuring that radio and telephone etiquette is followed.
* Promptly returning all lost and found items.
* Following key control policy.
* Displaying a professional image at all times through appearance, dress, and conduct and following uniform standards.
* Maintaining and adhering to our company values.
* Upholding and following company’s policies and procedures.
* Following all safety standards such as Hazardous Communications, Bloodborne Pathogens, Fire Safety, Proper Lifting Techniques, and Housekeeping Safety.
