The Inspections, Appraisals, and Valuation team within Cox Automotive Product and Technology Group (CAPTG) is looking for a passionate Product Data Analyst to help drive the development, delivery, and optimisation of our digital solutions.
About Us:Our newly established team is dedicated to innovation, leading the transformation of critical processes that are central to our business operations and customer success. We work collaboratively with Developers, Product Managers, and UX Designers to continuously improve our suite of products.
Your Role:As a Product Data Analyst, you will:
* Support our growing data infrastructure by building and maintaining ETL/ELT data pipelines.
* Ensure data integrity and quality through validation and monitoring.
* Collaborate with Software Engineers and the Enterprise Data Team to deliver high-quality data solutions.
* Automate repetitive data tasks and improve workflow efficiency.
* Provide technical support for reports, dashboards, and other reporting tools, and train users to become more self-sufficient.
* Recreate existing Tableau reports using Power BI.
* Assist our Pricing Team to ensure accurate vehicle valuations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design, build, and maintain data pipelines.
* Clean, transform, and analyse data using SQL.
* Ensure data quality and integrity.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver data solutions.
* Automate data tasks and improve efficiency.
* Provide technical support and training for reporting tools.
* Migrate reports from Tableau to Power BI.
What We’re Looking For:
* Good understanding of product and website performance metrics and KPIs.
* Strong Excel skills, including lookup functions and pivot tables.
* Proficiency in SQL.
* Understanding of database structures and data ingestion principles.
* Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau and Power BI).
* Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to develop technical expertise.
* Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
* Continuous development mindset and willingness to learn new skills and technologies.
* Ability to work under moderate supervision and exercise judgment.
* Understanding of data governance, security, and compliance best practices.
Preferred Skills/Experience:
* Experience in automotive, marketing, retail, finance, or technology industries.
* Experience in both B2B and B2C environments.
* Experience with Python or another programming language is a plus.
