I'm currently looking for a Design Engineer with an interest in working on exciting projects to collaborate with a talented, growing team. The company provides complex design & build solutions predominantly into the water & wastewater industries. We are looking for someone with a minimum of 2 years’ experience working within a similar role, and experience designing fabrication drawings is key. You can be based near North London. We’re looking for someone who can play a pivotal role in transforming concept drawings into detailed fabrication drawings for a company consisting of circa 80 people with a very strong order book, now looking to add to their Design team due to continuous growth. The company specializes in engineered solutions which include the decommissioning and refurbishment of industrial equipment, machinery, and pipework.

Essential Skills / Experience:
* A minimum of 2 years working in a similar Design Engineering position, creating detailed fabrication drawings
* Previously worked within a Wastewater / Manufacturing / Mechanical Engineering environment or Construction environment is essential
* Proficient in 3D CAD software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks (open on package)
* Willing to occasionally travel between offices, workshops, and sites
The Role:
* Translate concept drawings into precise fabrication drawings with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
* Collaborate with the design team to ensure that drawings meet technical requirements and specifications.
* Utilise CAD software to create 2D and 3D models for fabrication purposes.
* Conduct thorough quality checks to ensure drawings are error-free and ready for production.
* Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to discuss design concepts and modifications.
* Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in fabrication design techniques.
