Responsibilities include:
* Account management and identifying new sales opportunities
* Prospecting new business and maximising sales
* Following up leads and converting into customer accounts
* Processing and scheduling customer orders efficiently
* Raising sales orders with accuracy
* Answering sales calls
* Liaising with the warehouse on stock
* Responding to email enquiries
* Building strong customer and internal relationships
* Liaising with customers on delays, shortages, and delivery dates
* Completing general administration duties
Required skills and experience:
* Computer literacy, including proficiency with email and MS Office
* Good negotiation skills
* Strong attention to detail
* Excellent communication and administrative skills
* Excellent organisation and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines
* Understanding of researching and identifying prospective customers
* Ability to work co-operatively and collaboratively with all levels of employees
