We are looking for an enthusiastic, flexible, and reliable ARRS funded Salaried GP to support our practice team in delivering primary care service to our diverse patient population.
You will be working with a varied patient demographic and an experienced multi-disciplinary team.
Main duties of the job
The successful candidate will share part of the GP workload undertaking a variety of duties including consultations (f2f or telephone), queries, paperwork, prescriptions, reports, and E-consults.

Offering 3 sessions to work over Thursdays & Fridays with some flexibility of session timings.
We are offering a starting salary range of £10,500 plus pension, 6 weeks pro rata leave plus indemnity.
About us
Our team comprises 2 GP partners, 2 salaried GPs, 2 clinical Pharmacists, 1 Practice Nurse, and a Health Care Assistant. You will be supported by an excellent administrative and support team.
We are members of West-Hill Health PCN and GP Federation.
We use SystmOne, so knowledge of the system will be an advantage.

Job Description
The post-holder will provide general medical services and deal with a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting, ensuring the highest standards of care for all registered and temporary patients.
Clinical Responsibilities
In accordance with the practice timetable, as agreed, the post-holder will make themselves available to undertake a variety of duties including surgery consultations, telephone consultations and queries, checking and signing repeat prescriptions, and dealing with online requests, queries, paperwork, and correspondence in a timely fashion.
Making professional, autonomous decisions in relation to presenting problems, whether self-referred or referred from other healthcare workers within the organisation.
Screening patients for disease risk factors and early signs of illness, helping the practice maximise its QOF points and deliver enhanced services in line with the service level agreements.
Ensuring that health data and full consultation records are entered onto the practice computer system accurately and contemporaneously.
Using the computerised templates as an accurate means of recording health data in relation to individual patients.
In consultation with patients and in line with current practice disease management guidelines, developing care plans for health.
Prescribing in accordance with the practice policy of shared prescribing and generic prescribing.
Awareness of, and compliance with, all relevant practice policies and guidelines, e.g., prescribing, confidentiality, data protection, health and safety.
