We are looking to appoint a dynamic teacher, who has excellent knowledge of the subject and who will be able to contribute to the excellent standard of progress and achievement in the department. The successful candidate would be expected to teach Business Studies GCSE and A Level as well as having the opportunity to teach Economics if suitably qualified. It would be desirable for the successful candidate to be able to teach Computing at KS3 level or to have an alternative second subject.
This post is suitable for an experienced practitioner as well an ECT, for whom excellent support would be available.

· Have the ability to inspire students to study the subject through to degree level
· Support and help develop outstanding opportunities for students in Business and Economics
· Enjoy working as part of a team and have the capacity to deliver high quality lessons
· Have a detailed understanding of the requirements of GCSE and A Level Business Studies
· Leads activities beyond the classroom to excite and engage all students.

· Be responsible for the educational progress of students
· Support and help the vision across the department
· Keep up to date with the latest developments in the subject
· Teach Business Studies at GCSE and A Level
