You will be responsible for the direct buying of our medical portfolio from our parent company B. Braun Group and the management of this inventory to ensure our UK customer requirements are met. Staying one step ahead will be essential to ensure purchase orders are placed and progressed promptly. Using your analytical skills, you will assess customer demands, sales forecasts, promotions and manufacturing trends to make informed purchasing decisions. Your main responsibilities will be: Responsible for stock management against agreed inventory targets. Resolution of vendor delivery and invoice queries. Manage and minimise any backorder situations within the buyer product area. Preparation of invoices for approval. Inventory reporting. Maintaining excellent and proactive relationships with suppliers both internal and external. What you’ll need to succeed: Experience of purchasing practices and demand planning. Competent in all areas of product forecasting and inventory control principles. Intermediate to advanced Excel skills. Strong administration skills. Accurate and methodical with attention to detail. A team player with the ability to work on own initiative. Excellent communication skills.
