Circet UK are currently on the market for an experienced Head of Training who will assist in developing, facilitating and supervising training programs for Circet employees and subcontractors.
As head of the department you will assess the needs of the business, drive training and development plans and facilitate a wide variety of training programs that enhance the effectiveness of the workforce.
*This is a national role and will be based across the UK*
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Determining and assessing an organisation’s training and employee development needs
* Creating training materials and programmes to address specific business objectives
* Writing reports, keeping records and managing training budgets
* Working with employees, the human resources teams and management to ensure the achievement of training objectives
* Monitoring and assessing the effectiveness and success of training programmes
* Keeping up-to-date on the latest training trends, developments and best practices
* Identifying and implementing a wide range of training techniques to improve efficiency and returns on investment
* Managing employee enrolment for training, schedule training sessions and organising the resources to facilitate training programmes
* Assess employees’ skills, talents, performance and productivity and assist / prepare written evaluations with advice for improvement.
Health & Safety Obligations:
* Fully understand and implement the company safety policy and procedures.
* Ensure that the programmes for the contracts are successfully delivered in a Safe, Quality and On Time Manner.
* Help drive compliance to any regulatory measures that may apply to the works and operations that KN undertake.
* Ensure that a ‘Right First Time’ culture is adopted and developed throughout the business.
Knowledge & Skills Requirements:
* 5+ years’ experience in the telecoms or utilities industry.
* 2+ years’ experience in training.
* Experience designing and implementing curricula preferred.
* Excellent team building, organisation and leadership skills.
