Management Accountant
Full Time – fixed term contract for up to 1 year

What will you be doing?
* Business Partnering: build strong relationships with key internal stakeholders and customers. Provide insightful reporting & analysis, develop budgets & forecasts, provide challenge and general financial support to ensure robust cost control and alignment to strategic plans.
* Commercial & Operational focus with best in class service for our Stakeholders.
* Month-End – the end-to-end process including preparation, accruals & prepayments, cost management & understanding, ownership of the P&L & profit flash commentary.
* Identifying risks & opportunities in a forward-looking view.
* Variance analysis while understanding the key drivers.
* Value-adding reporting.
* Management Reporting: develop and maintain company-wide reporting such as operational KPIs, headcount, product performance, etc. Lead and contribute to executive level review processes.
* Projects: Finance involvement in projects covering the operation & technology functions – from building a compelling business case through to delivery, tracking, and post-investment appraisal.
Who do we need?
* CIMA/ACCA qualified or part qualified – QBE also considered.
* Manufacturing, supply chain or technology finance background desirable.
* Curiosity, collaborative, inquisitive, enthusiastic, and proactive ‘can do attitude’.
* Attention to detail.
* Strong business partnering skills with the ability to challenge and influence stakeholders, build credibility and rapport.
* Change oriented, constantly seeking improvement opportunities.
* Strong communication skills: accurate, considered, persuasive and succinct.
* Advanced skills in Excel and financial operating systems.
* Results focused, ensuring plans in place and delivered through regular review.
* Strong organisation skills to manage multiple responsibilities.
