As an Agency Support Worker, you will play a vital role in delivering person-centred care, fostering independence, and promoting well-being. Key Responsibilities: Provide high-quality care and support tailored to the needs of individuals. Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and recreational activities. Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure consistent and effective care. Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with regulatory standards. Promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all individuals. Support individuals in managing challenging behaviours using approved techniques. Essential Criteria: Mandatory Training: Up-to-date training certificates aligned with healthcare standards. PMVA Training: Current certification in Prevention and Management of Violence and Aggression (PMVA). Oliver McGowan Training: Evidence of completion of training in learning disability and autism awareness. Immunisations/Vaccinations: Proof of immunisations, including but not limited to Varicella, MMR, and Tuberculosis, as requested. Previous experience in a similar role within a hospital or care setting. A compassionate and empathetic approach to care. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Flexibility to adapt to changing needs and shift patterns. Desirable Criteria: Experience working with individuals with mental health needs, learning disabilities, or complex care requirements.
