Responsibilities
The role of the Community Manager is to lead, coordinate, support and facilitate all site events and be the point of contact for the client, site teams and their customers. The Community Manager is responsible for creating and nurturing a culture of excellence that delivers on the provision of a best-in-class service for the account.
The individual will work closely with site staff and their customers, as well as other service partners in the business, and as this role is highly visible. The role is hands on as required with the role holder being involved and supporting all aspects of events, whilst being proactive, adaptable and flexible.
1. Manage the marketing strategy and annual budget
2. Manage social media channels and provide monthly content
3. Attend industry relevant networking
4. Attend monthly marketing update calls with the Client
5. Provide monthly marketing reports including social media updates, digital marketing performance, tenant liaison updates, events, PR and communication updates
6. Work with 3rd party suppliers to raise the building's profile
7. Dealing with press releases
8. Responsible for events management in the building
9. First point of contact for all events
10. Building relationships with event providers
11. To build a highly trusted relationship with the site teams and their customers ensuring our delivery is proactive and engaging. Listen and promptly act appropriately and constantly collaborate
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements include:
1. Experience in an events environment and marketing
2. Experience in event coordination
3. The ideal candidate will thrive in a quick moving, ambiguous environment, have an extraordinary attention to detail, while still working under tight deadlines. They will be collaborative, supportive, and skilled in handling multiple, complex, concurrent events
4. Outstanding customer service skills and orientation
5. Proficient in MS Office and Outlook, and possess excellent written and verbal communication and people skills
6. Must be able to demonstrate flexibility in relation to type of works carried out and availability with events often operating out of hours
7. An excellent customer focused manner at all times
8. Ability to be proactive and to possess strategic thinking and planning skills
9. Strong communication skills, leadership, teamwork, analysis, judgment, and customer focus
10. Able to evaluate priorities and re-juggle as appropriate
11. Able to resolve conflict and communicate intentions clearly
12. Deliver on time and with high quality results
13. A proven team player at ease with sleeves rolled up approach
14. Experience being involved with Workplace or Facilities operations at an event level
15. Excellent PC skills, proficient in Microsoft office
16. Customer focused
17. Good communicator - both written and verbal
18. Assertive, proud, positive
19. Possess cultural awareness and sensitivity
20. Fluent or first language English is required (written and oral)
