This permanent role focuses on Systems Engineering within the Defence industry, ensuring the design and lifecycle management of critical products.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Capture agreed technical requirements in accordance with company and programme processes.
2. Deliver compliant technical solutions against contractual requirements and regulations.
3. Provide engineering Lifecycle Management (LCM) adherence for all deliverables, Subcontract Design Reviews, and relevant input to project LCM activities.
4. Deliver design change requirements and documentation in accordance with company processes.
5. Provide specialist technical input, review and support into projects beyond the immediate scope.
6. Leverage systems experience and knowledge in both the tactical and strategic development of engineers and supporting functions.
7. Provide technical support to integrated performance and acceptance activities.
8. Work with various engineering teams to improve domain knowledge and guide junior members.
Job Requirements:
Essential:
1. STEM Degree or equivalent qualification and experience within an engineering background.
2. Experience in Systems Engineering, including tools such as IBM DOORS and extensive experience with Enterprise Architect.
3. Experience in leading small teams.
4. Experience in the relevant industry.
5. Knowledge and expertise in Systems Engineering processes and practices, including V model-based experience.
Desirable:
1. Obtained or capable of obtaining relevant Professional Registration (CEng).
