Description How will you contribute? • Coordinate and facilitate safety training sessions for employees/contractors, including induction training and ongoing refresher courses and Support in the preparation of presentations for safety meetings. • Maintain and organise HSE-related documents such as risk assessments, safety records, compliance certifications, and incident reports through the Company system and follow up actions. • Maintain accurate records of safety incidents, near misses, and corrective actions, and analyse data to identify trends and areas for improvement. • Assisting management team in the investigation of accidents, incidents, and near misses, and collaborate with relevant teams to develop and implement effective corrective and preventive measures. • Ensure that all documents are up-to-date, accurate, and stored in an accessible manner. Assist with the Document control and help and support HSE manager and liaise with internal auditors to ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations and all the document record are up to date. • Support the HSE Manager in the development and maintenance of emergency response plans and procedures, including evacuation drills and first aid drills. • Prepare and complete daily and monthly reports on health, safety, and environmental metrics, highlighting key performance indicators, trends, and areas for improvement and coordinate internal communications across relevant parts of the Cardo group regarding HSE updates, changes, and policies. • Assist in coordinating various meetings, including committee meetings, by overseeing scheduling, logistics, and participant communication. Additionally, record, transcribe, and distribute minutes for these meetings, workshops, and training sessions pertaining to health, safety, and environmental topics and assist in preparing training materials and presentations. • Provide administrative support to the HSE Manager, correspondence, and document preparation. • Undertake general administrative tasks such as record and responding to the emails, data entry, filing, and photocopying to support the smooth functioning of the HSE department. What will you bring? • Proven experience in a similar role within the distribution or logistics industry, with a strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with employees at all levels of the organisation. • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with safety management software is preferred. • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as collaboratively within a team environment What do we offer?
