Key Deliverables
Utilitrack Ltd is looking for an experienced Telesales Team Manager to work from our North East office based in North Tyneside (Cobalt Business Park) with a proven track record of leading and developing a well-established Telesales team.
As Telesales Team Manager, you will be responsible for leading the telesales team, consisting of a team of sales representatives conducting outgoing calls to all types of business customers.
The post holder will manage a team of 12 Business Consultants with room for growth.
You will be required to oversee day-to-day sales in this area and carry out various types of coaching where necessary to maximize sales from within the team via cross-selling and up-selling of Utilitrack’s services.
You will report to the Head of Sales. You will be a key figure in the correct promotion of Utilitrack’s products to its current and potential customers and ensuring staff are delivering high levels of customer service and professionalism.
Paramount to this role is finding a sales manager who is committed to ensuring that our customers are given sound advice and are directed to buying the right product to meet their needs. The role is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to make a real difference and contribute to the evolution of the sales department within a growing business with exciting plans in 2025 and beyond.
Key Responsibilities
1. Maximise sales enquiries through regular coaching & mentoring on sales technique
2. Conduct monthly 1 to 1’s
3. Career development planning: training needs analysis, succession planning
4. Carry out call reviews to assess performance & provide feedback on sales technique
5. Be pro-active and ‘hands on’ in your approach to selling and sales management.
6. Produce monthly reports on productivity and sales performance
7. Analyse monthly sales team statistics & reports in order to identify areas for improvement and take corrective action as required.
8. Build and maintain industry and competitor knowledge.
9. Provide input into sales strategy & planning as part of the sales management team
10. Meet KPIs: Revenue and productivity targets
Candidate Profile
1. Proven experience of leading a Telesales team
2. Experience of building & developing teams
3. Experience in sales coaching
4. Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate at all levels
5. Excellent verbal & written communication skills
6. Team player – contributes ideas & suggestions for improvement
7. Confident, assertive and professional in all internal and external dealings
8. Strong attention to detail
9. Ability to work on own initiative
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £35,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
